What was that old saying… “Pepsi Cola Burnt Him Up, Now He’s Drinking 7Up?”
Well even after multiple lawsuits around the Michael Jackson / Pepsi Fire Incident of 1984 during a Pepsi commercial shoot, and after his death in 2009, Pepsi and MJ are back together.
This Limited Edition “King of Pop” 16oz can packaging redesign available now in stores is proof of a couple things that we at HIP HELLO remind our clients of everyday:
1. Even the TOP soda brand (neck and neck so to speak with Coca-Cola) has to reinvent, re-package, and continue to evolve to keep their customers wanting more.
2. Unfortunate circumstances or events can be turned into a publicity move if handled correctly. While audiences may forgive or even forget, there really is no such thing as bad press.



Recently we had the fabulous opportunity to work with a client on a Re-Brand / Fresh Launch of her online publication Kimversations !
Kimversations is produced and edited by Kim Hickok who dishes about, well yummy dishes to make, travel, crafting and life! We designed her logo and tagline and worked on a fully branded layout for her revamped website in order to keep her thoughts organized and bring her new fans and keep her existing coming back for more!

So obviously we are suckers for branding + packaging.
This is magnified when we come across a brand that has been in our lives since we were small children hearing “Look Madge I Soaked In It!” commercials but feeling rather ho-hum about the green curvy bottle.
Today we came upon this newly packaged & designed bottle of Palmolive dish soap at Target and not only needed a refill at the sink, but HAD to have this very kind of soap because of the lovely scent combo of lemon + thyme and of course the sleek bottle!
